Started cycling in 2009, I bought my first road bike for £500, turned up to my first group ride (having gone and bought a cycling jersey that morning so I would ‘look like I knew what I was doing’) and my love from cycling has continued to grow from there.
I have continued to throw myself into finding more about bikes, trying MTB, track, time trial and road racing alongside building up my own bikes and getting stuck into the details about what components, bits of kit and equipment to buy and why.
In 2018 I decided to give triathlon a go and the challenge of Ironman really appealed to me as it was so outside my comfort zone but that really excited me. Naturally, I got more into the detail about how I could improve my bikes and found that more and more people started to come to me for cycling advice and support.
In 2021, during the pandemic, I made the move to launch Passion Fitting and leave my full-time corporate job to start on a new adventure. Believe it or not, I do actually have an MSc from the University of Oxford in water science, policy & management…
Starting cycling has changed my life, this is why I felt it so important to use the skills and experience I have to support others with their cycling or triathlon journey, knowing how much of a difference it can truly make.
